Is there still a chance for a Phoenician/ Carthaginian religion?
It's basically polytheism with two or three dominant deities and a more or less unique deity for every city state
Zoroastrianism is acceptable only because the Phoenicians were conquered and part of Persia. it is not convenient for Carthage, neither seems any other available religion and since the tribe of Phoenicians is playable, a culture independant from Persia is indicated.
How about
Henotheism an unspecific, more general option for a religion, so useful for more tribes than just the punics, though the term is a modern one.
I am not sure it can be applicated for us, anyone more educated on that matter?
