The shield can't be seen after it's attached. It's seen either the coat of arms or a small round grey thing.

Yes - at the moment we are adding a lot of weapons and shields to the database. It takes a little time to get the values of this weapons decently right.
The graphics for the round shield an the oval shield are the only ones which are not ready at the moment.

I think today or tomorrow the graphics will be available and perhaps you can see the new weapons and shields then too ....

I think it would be better to change the material resulted from the farming in the village.

It currently is corn... I think it could be changed to grain or something .

Just used last days of my free-Premium to check the "Warriors of the tribe".

There I found Teuton-Locum Alarus (me) and Teuton-Beraterin Ceres. Little mistake within translation

Once more: Ranking-list of Tribes, the shortings for the relgions are wrong, so the Teutons and Svear are for example jew...
The Aorsians are chr-k.
and so on

Please also have a look on Dogun's observation for changing CORN with GRAIN (for historical accuracy).
