1. Macedonian castel should be moved from 389 (Herzegowina) to 405 (mazedonien)

2. Illirian capital shoud be moved from 383 (Tolona) to either 389 (Herzegowina) or 390 (Montenegro). Because the most powrfull and importan illyrian capital (illyria consisted of several seperat tribes) where located there.

Not all the nation castles are placed on the game map in the most accurate way for the play purposes. Your proposal will bring the two nation's castles to close one to the other. I think that was the reason Illyrians was placed in 383 Tolna and from what i know ( still I'm not an historic expert!) Illyrians took all the land to Dalmatian coast.
About moving Macedonian castle to 405 Macedonia, it will be too close to Hellenes.
It's only a personal opinion and it's for Hoern, the ad.min of the game to approve the map changes. Let's wait and see what he will decide about your request.

That may be so, but the Illyrian castle still needs a transfer. -The Illyrians stretched north only to the river Sava. and 383 Tolona i further north then that. If 389 and 390 would be to close to Macedonians then field #381 would still be a better choice.
As far as picturs go there isn't much to go on. There are only maps with the locations of Illyrian tribes and cities.

And as you can see not a lot of them go further then river sava.
There is another reason the capitol should be moved to the coast and that is that Illyrians where greath sealers and pirates and because of there piracy they waged many wars with Greeks, Macedonians and later Romans!

For the Macedonians it is a bit far fetched to put there capital in Hercegovina as they never ruled those lands, not even under Alexander the great.

the Macedonian capital was Aigai until 400 BC when it was moved by Archelaus to Pella.

it would put it in 408 Thessalien, which is under Helen rule.
I guess 401 and 402 would be a better replacement.

Agree with you Illyrians was famous by acting on the Dalmatian coast, already mentioned that, also they didn't go north so far, Tolona(or Tolna) is in Panonia.
Agree with you Macedonia never ruled such provinces as Hercegovina and Alexander the Great expand the Macedonian kingdom to an empire in the south and east, not in north.

I am agreeing that Macedonia capital should be further East.

It is also to be remembered that the Game balance when nations are close and one begins late, must be considered. That is what Sigfried was meaning when he mentioned Hoerns original placement.

All the rest is true also, but how crowded do you want a part of the map when so much empty can be used?
