We will have a Praetor Maximus. We will elect him and he will be the defender of the Republic.

We will have three Consuls, they will be elected by the Senators.
One Consul will be our highest Tribun, he controlls the Legions.
One Consul will be our Master of Diplomacy, he will make sure we have war and peace with other Tribes.
One Consul will be Our Head of the Senate and Master of all Provinces. He devides the Silver Among the Provinces, Welcome new Players and has a Voice in the Senate.

We will have Senators,the Masters of a province, they will be chosen by the Consuls.
They will form the Senate. They decide together about games,which provinces we will take, who will be our friend or enemy. And they discuss about everything else we need to decide.

Every Roman has to do , what the Senate decides.
The only thing the Senate can never decide is who will become the next Praetor Maximus.
That will be decided by the three Consuls.
Possible Candidates for that are one of the Consuls, the Son or Daughter of the current Praetor Maximus.
The Praetor Maximus will change if he dies, retires on free will or is deselected.



What a Consul or a Caesar can do if some things need to be done quickly?
Sometimes it is neccessary to find an answer in a very short time, than the the Caesar decides, if that is not possible(cause of holidays or beeing offline), the Consul who is the head of the Senate decides, if that is not possible(cause of holidays or beeing offline), the Consul who is the master of diplomacy decides, if that is not possible(cause of holidays or beeing offline), the Consul who is the Tribun decides.
If possible they should talk to each other and find an answer together, if not see who decides.


Who is in the Senate and who has one Voice there?
Each Senator has one Voice.
The Consul which is the Head of Senate, has one Voice.
The Praetor Maximus has one Voice .
The Man of the People has one Voice.

What happens if there is no decision, cause we have a tie at a votum?
Than the Praetor Maximus decides

Who is the Man of the People?
The easy warriors, which are no Senators, Consuls or the Praetor Maximus, can elect one of them becomming the Man of the People. He will also have a voice in the Senate.

When may a player be kicked out of Rome?
If he is offline for more than 7 days without informing someone ,that he is at hollidays or ill or have any problems.
He is a multi-account gamer, the cross green or red, has to be seen by two or Consuls or the Caesar, and the Senate has to be informed about that, one day before kicking that player out of Rome.
The Player always play against all other Romans or ignores commands from the Senate or the Consuls, even in this case the Senate has to be informed one day before the player should be kicked.

What should the Praetor Maximus do ?
He should show us problems and make advices how to solve them.
He may do advices in any point of Roman, Military,Politics or inner Affairs.
He is the only one who is allowed to kick people out of Rome.
He can function in each job a Consul should do, but only if the Consul who should do has no time to do so or the Senate forced him to do so.
Everything the Senate forced him to do.


The last thing is that all of you swear , who ever gets in a position to do so, will not kick me cause of things in the past.

I agree. Was there a particular point for this? Was it to argue my choice on the other proposal? Keeping other players up to date on current proposals? To make a new proposal? Maybe a little back ground would assist? Maybe better suited in myth's and legends... to others Sig is a censor where located, and marked his reasons for the moving.

Agreed... I know there's a Diplomatic Board for this but being this a civil war between exiled romans and Ildico, we cannot used it. Barbarians have no King, Chancellor or Foreign Minister to have acess there. Why can't we use Nations Board?

In my opinion, editing Ildico's post in negotiations thread to move her offer here is counterproductive. Many players won't take the trouble to watch this thread; nor does it help futher development of our RP.

It would be better to simply delete it, since mix RP and OOC than bother to split and post it here for you?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble people but he's right ... that post is anything but good RP with it's blend RPG and OOC elements . Remember we're in 293 BC and the rules clearly say that all posts in the RP Boards MUST BE RP. For other matters such as OOC stuff there's the Players ask Players and the Off topic forums although I believe Hoern should open up a discussion forum so that players can debate over RP's . But until then I'm afraid these are the rules .

The principle of roleplay: Passages from real life marked by comments like “ooc”, “rpg off” or “rl” are not allowed. All posts have to be roleplays. Once your post has been made, it should stay the way it is, and not be changed. A saved post is to be treated like spoken words or a sent letter: it cannot be taken back!

The proposal is exactly WHERE it needs to be.

It was not written as an RP story but as an offer to other Players...not characters.

Sigfried did well to move it here so that the other players could reply.
Any personal opinions about him not involving that choice do not belong inside this storyline. They should be used in the other forum.

IMHO- The only other solution would have been useful would be as I said elsewhere......
Ask a 3rd nation to use their diplomats to post replies back and forth and get this back to an RP issue that way. Then the PMs of the barbarians would become carried diplomatic opinion and permitted.
