He could see the port but barely. He figured another day he would be on land which would be a relief since he rather walk on land than sailing on seas. He could see another ship sailing towards to the ship he was riding. There was a man hollaring.

DECIMUS ATRAPES? YE BE HERE?

His ears perked up when he heard his name being called out so he went over to the side and waved.

I BE HERE SIR WHO ARE YOU?

AH THAR YE BE SIR IM JUST A MESSENGER. YOU HAVE A MESSAGE FROM GAUL.

A message? he thought now why would Gaul be sending me a message. He tried to think AH yes probably to respond to my message I sent days earlier.

OH YES MAY?

AYE SIRE AYE HE YE BE.

Watching the Messenger tie the parchment to an empty bottle then threw it over to his side. By the time the 2 ships were close enough to be able to do that. Decimus ran to catch it. Taking the message off the bottle and waved to the messenger to let him know he got it. He carefully broke the seal and read the letter. This letter put a smile on his face. He went to his quarters where he kept his writing utensils and sat down to begin writing.

I have received your message. I am a day away from land as I write this letter. After checking my map, I have calculated it will be about 8 days travel on land. No fear I will be there to join you for a nice drink at the castle.

The seas has been so quiet no battles to be fought or duels. I find myself cleaning the ship to keep me from jumping over the railing from boredom. However once I join you and your army, things will be more fun and challenging. However I must ask...as I arrive..I would like to duel this young man you speak of *looks his letter* ah yes Brigga. Would that be alright...perhaps he needs more challenge from someone like me and same to you. I am itching for a duel but cannot duel anyone for there are no one around for me to duel with.

May luck be on your side if you decide to try again if not then we shall see if having me joining will make a difference.

He quickly rolled the letter and found a ribbon to tie it and sealed the letter with wax. He found a flower that was on his writing table and places it in the ribbon. He tied the letter to the bottle and ran to the side yelling.

QUICKLY TAKE THIS MESSAGE BACK TO MAY. I DO NOT CARE HOW YOU DO IT BUT GET IT TO HER QUICKLY.

The messenger grumbling thinking why is it that they want the delivered quickly. Then he smiled at Decimus.

AYE AYE SIRE OFF I GO.

Watching the ship turning around quickly. It was one of the smaller ships designed for quickness especially made for sending messages. The ship disappeared quickly before he blinked his eyes.
