exhausted but content with herself and the results of that hunting game Mekare reached the place of the tournament..
she was delighted to see that her tent already was put up and after cleaning her dirty wardrobe, she decided to have a short snooze.before she would look for her opponent for the tounoi.

meanwhile the quarry of hunting had to be prepared for dinner ....

The news that Raurici warriors successfully cross the woods and reach Sachsen was cheered up around the fire where Teutons tribe was gathered.
"Any reason to drink more is a good reason" is what Sigfried have in mind.
The Jarl stand up not without some difficulty because of the drinks. Two young girls help him not to collapse:

Invite our friends and let the Party begin! was his words spoken.

Mekare awoke the day after the tournament. some silly stars and other little devils circled in her head.
what for Thor's sake had she drunken?
it must have been a special sort of teutonic red wine -it tasted bloody sweet - but now some headache was the consequence.
the hunting party had been a fantastic success but now it was time to return.
as Sigfried seemed to be away or still asleep she sent him a letter:

then she saddled her brave horse Preparation, looked for Maharet and Soaki to join her and contently said good bye to the brave Teutonian hosts.

A couple of weeks ago

It was if the gods hated the Gauls. Almost every town and village are deserted by a strange disease or curse. The druids of the tribes gathered at the groves of Toetanis. What they thought as solution was expected. The Pagi of the Gallic Tribes must in exile. As a compansation, Pagi Hisolde got a horse, a full-blood arab called Metanix.

With her new horse and a little money, Hisolde went on her exile with her children. One son and two daughters. Kongurix, Walhalla and Morrigan. All by all, a single mother with three young kids. The main task is now to find a new home for her and her children.

Present day

The journey was long and harsh, but Hisolde made it. The tribe of the Raurici. A tribe known as a bloodthirsty one, but also a tribe who protect their warriors and their families. As she tried to enter the gates, she got stopped by the palaceguards. Who are you, and what is your business here? My name is Hisolde, Pagi, no former Pagi of the Gallic Tribes and I am looking for a new home. At this moment our Queen isn't here, but we can let you join us. Follow me to your new house.

With she and her children settled, Hisolde wrote a letter to her new leader.

she was delighted that Hisolde and Hubertsberg had found their way to her tribe.

but what terrible things must have happened to the Gauls?
since that last pestilence most of the countries in Europe had lost immense population and villages were abandoned and blasted.
therefore Mekare sent messengers to her provinces to find two well fitted villages for Hisolde and Hubertsberg.

at first she wanted to have a welcome party, but as preparations for a long journey already had started
Mekare decided to do that later.

by the way- preparatons!?! - some of the older ones -lol- of the tribe wanted to join "just another tourney" to see again Opa Kralle and his brave fighters who had helped Raurici in their early days to cultivate Barbarian lands.

so some carefully selected fighters made on their way to the Celtiberians heading Hubertsberg as scout ...

bayern without a battle and without an "oktoberfest" is boring. my worriers are tired of cleaning their weapons and shoes. hope to hear good news from the northern terretories and our friends. hope to enjoy ceutron-blood.
