If she like it? The question pose Sigfried in difficulty.. Dunno.. I didn't ask.. just give it to her, she says something like "No, no need.." and I put the cape on her! She mention it something about white fox fur is better, but didn't pay much attention, being distracted by "other things".

Sigfried just walk up and down, it was obvious he have something in his mind:
Announce all the warriors we will meet in a week and have a council! People start to be lazy and I don't like that!
He hit the bucket with the club in order to point that out and reverse the water all over the floor.
"Who will go to the river to bring water again?"
The thought make Sigfried to leave the place, letting the decision on his friends to take.

The Teuton warriors gathers in the big hall curious and making jokes about Sigfried cal for a meeting.
Laughs and rumor end it when Sigfried stand up and take a martial position.
A few moments they look at him, but nothing happen. Obviously the man is preoccupied of something, but dunno how to start it.
He change the weight from a foot to the other, arrange the club and his brand new helmet, very proud about this one, hesitate again, but in the end he take down the helmet who cover half of the face and spell it out what he have in mind:

The dirt square between the Hall and the market is overcrowded, everybody excited to hear the herald announcement:

They didn't meet in the duel, because the Luigians leader Agathyrsos eliminate Herne!

It was a fight like never was seen before..
The two fighters, Herne the Hunter and Sigfried the Fearless face to face, determined, ready to prove who's the best, waiting for the start signal.
Even it was decided Freya will give the start signal, it was Gundrun who did it. Sigfried attack Herne in force while the Hunter still fix the beautiful Freya waiting for the signal. Took by surprise the famous warrior manage to hold the ground with some difficulty in front of an unleashed Sigfried, almost certain about the victory.
But after a few minutes, Herne the Hunter took the initiative in front of an overconfident Sigfried and push him back. They are again in the middle of the circle, but it was Herne the Hunter who lead the fight.
The few smart enough to bet on the Hunter jubilate. A small fortune wait for them at the end of the fight.
With every blow Sigfried step back and in the end he accept the defeat, not very content after he was almost certain about the outcome in his favor.
Every dog have his day! moan Sigfried for himself, trying to smile and congratulate Herne the Hunter for the victory, while regain his breath.
- Con..gratulations, my dear friend! Ni..ce fight, isn't it? My foot slipped a bit at the last blow or you could not win so easily. Next time you won't be so lucky.
It wasn't sure if Herne the Hunter hear what Sigfried says, he was surrounded by the people who almost suffocate him in the attempt to touch the winner. It is an old superstition who says who touch the winner gain the favors of gods, not to mention the popularity of the Hunter amongst the Teutons.

Defeated.. The undefeated Teuton's army was beaten by the Yeti men called Nenzians in more than one battle.

Sigfried cannot believe.. Moving forth and back in the tent, repeating the unpleasant word, he reverse his fury on the bag standing in his way. The old diary bring his attention: Alconan Dreadeye and Herne the Hunter!
Notice them in the Yeti furs hitting hard the opponents right and left. It seems the old adversaries are coming back like a nightmare.

Wooootan, I swear that I won't have peace until I'll not paint their igloo with their own blood. Polar bears will do the rest with the bodies.

Well, nobody can say Sigfried of the Teutons don't keep his promises to the gods and himself!

Here I am, surrounded by Samoyed bodies and playing with their skulls after all who resemble of their pitiful existence was burned to the ground. The Yeti men run in fear, letting Sarmatians to defend what's left from their lands. Cowards as always..

Those low life thieves are good only to sneak around Teuton settlements and steal some supplies. If they lucky, they maybe get a shirt or two, such luxury commodity they never had.
Covered with furs from head to feet that sometimes hardly can make the difference between dressed and their own fur they smell like shit. That was the advantage they used to firstly defeat Teutons, the smell..

- Where is the Cyclopes?

- The.. Cyclopes? a few warriors wonder.

- Yeah, the Cyclopes.. Alconan One Eye.. I give you the order before battle to nail him and come to me because I want to see him crawling at me feet before put a stake in his eye..

After asking one to another, one reply:
- Nobody saw him, Sigfried. It seems he fled with the rest of Yeti men.

- I'm surrounded by incompetents? I give you one order and you was not able to carry out?

"Only one order because Wolfgar gives all the battle orders.." reply the same brave warrior in low voice, that Siegfried could not properly understand. A few warriors start to giggle.

- You are mocking your Jarl, little one? I'll teach you what it means proper respect..

Making a step in front, a young warrior reply looking in Sigfried's eyes without fear:
- Sigfried, don't be mad on me. I was saying it's a shame the.. Cyclopes was not captured to receive what he deserve. People are laughing because he flees I think..

- Yes, it's so bad Alconan One Eye could not be captured. Without a country, he won't get very far. We will get him next time.. But who are you? Are you a dwarf?

- I'm Paul, Ragnar nephew and I'm human alright. But you can say that about my uncle, he looks exactly like a dwarf.. hahaha

- Oh, now I remember you.. a few years ago you beat me at the game the boys use to play near the lake, who makes more circles throwing a stone on the water surface.
A twelve old years boy beating the Jarl.. definitely that was not polite!

- I'll keep in mind that, Sigfried, but believe me I wasn't aimed to win. Usually I use to make at least four circles and I not give my best shots with that occasion. I think your mind was to the important problems of our nation and crucial decisions you should take every day, that's why you lose making only two circles at the end.

The warriors start to laugh with all their hearts, nobody do only two circles.. But Sigfried is not upset, he likes the boy.

- Hey Paul, I like the way you always speak the truth and seems to understand me even better than my closest advisors. Would you care to be a member of my suite? I need somebody who thinks like me to share my thoughts.

- Gladly.. not many youngsters in the main army and I need too somebody who thinks like me to share my thoughts.

The warriors heartily laugh again about Sigfried and Paul, the two "youngsters" in the main army.
Sigfried took that as an acceptance and laugh with them.

- Let's eat and drink, my friends.. we still have a few battles ahead.

Soon it was obvious the combined Samoyed-Sarmatians forces are no match for Teutons... but they simply cannot accept the defeat. Vologda will be known for Samoyed-Sarmatian graves.

- Hey, Yeti men, aren't you tired to have your arse kicked over and over again?
Our gods can beat your gods every day of the week, isn't obvious for you already? yell one of the Teuton warriors in the direction of Samoyed-Sarmatians armies running away, while the others laugh at loud and bash the shields.

- They are too stupid to understand they are no match for us! says another.

- What could you expect from those unwashed barbarians, who's only advantage is the smell? Once we learn to cover the noses, they was dead meat.

All the jokes and good laugh was soon interrupted by a tall warrior in white furs appearing from nowhere in the middle of Teuton's camp. It was a moment of surprise when Teuton warriors remain without reaction.
But when they grab the weapons and prepare to fight, Sigfried uncover the head and reveal the Yeti man identity.

- Hahahaha.. you was all dead for a second!

- Dam, Sigfried..

- I learn that joke from you, remember? I had so much fun looking at your dumb faces.. Let's drink, you look a bit pale to me.. says Sigfried with superiority, usually the target of the jokes.
Of course he didn't mention it was the young Paul idea, not his own.

After weeks of sailing around peninsula, finally we reach the Strait of Messina. Suddenly the storm calm down and our stomach feel better.
Even it's cloudy, we can see already the rocky shores of Sicily. That cheers up us a bit.

It's not that Teutons are not used to travel by sea. We use to face the icy winds in the north, sailing around Scandinavia all the time. But here in the south there is a different climate and even the sunny days are killing you with the heat.
We plan to land as soon as we pass by the straits.

Teuton warriors, be ready! We are almost there.
I will laugh in the face of Roman General who told us to avoid the Strait of Messina. Nothing could scare the fearless..

Sigfried could not finish his words. A monster come from nowhere and attack the boats.
It was huge and the boats start to be swallowed by the whirlpool he create appearing in the middle of us.
The monster smash the first boat and destroy it like a toy.

We had to jump in the water and run for our lives. No chance to fight with such huge monster.

Goths treachery took his tool on the people's faces: Teutons look suspicious to every stranger entering their villages, no matter they are friends, asking who will be the next to put the dagger in their back.
The happy days when Teutons use to cherish every event with other people are gone.

Sigfried is no different than the others, he is not running anymore from one member of the tribe to another making jokes or being the target of such jokes. He spend more and more time outside the village, next to the river, under the big willow. Teutons leader is not younger anymore, his long hair resembling the branches of the willow have more and more snow in it.

Usually no man of a second thoughts, he start to remember his last decisions asking if he don't become soft as people are saying.

A group of older warriors of the tribe approach, but Sigfried don't pay any attention to them, with the feeling that nothing good come with this.

Aahem.. One of the warriors ask his attention. Reckless, with the tongue sharp as his sword, remembering of Sigfried in the younger days. Teutons leader turn his face looking to every one of them. The warrior continue, a bit hesitating:
Words reach us about a distant tribe challenging Teutons warfare supremacy!

And who would be this tribe? We crush all our enemies all over the known world: Gauls, CIlicians, Samoyed, Sarmatians, Phrygians, Ceutrones, Pontus, Macedonians, Sicilians and Goths.We prove nobody could match The Sons of Gods power.

They call themselves Ce.. cetliberians! finally the warrior manage to spell the name.

I learn about a Celtiberian tribe when I was in Rome. Some fugitives, settling in distant lands. If that's the tribe, you have nothing to worry about.

It's nothing like that. Recently they won the Macedonian tournament and they was heard saying even Teutons are no match for them. The gods are angry because of that says the seer.

It is that so? Prepare the camp. We will march to this tribe lands and we will see if that's true. After we will defeat them, I'll offer the tongue of the Celtiberian leader to the gods.
