Sicilian "Official Statement"      19.09.2011 01:22:18 --- 8 Months ago
Dear community,

In the last time most of us experienced some ugly discussions, strange behaviours, flaming and blaming:
Meanwhile it seems to us that we were made responsible for anything bad that happens here.

So we would like to clarify our position as a tribe:

- We like and respect the Romans and their allies for being dignified opponents. We use harsh words in RP - that does not reflect our oog attitude.

- You can judge our playstyle as unconventional, unfair or whatever - We believe that we are not breaking any rules or doing damge to the game.

- We would never whine, moan or pity about lost battles, tournaments our duels, as it's part of the game. But we have an issue to find our petitions negatively discussed with regard on our ingame playstyle.

- We don't have a "tribe policy" regarding the "balance of power discussion. Our members have different opinions concerning that discussion. Our bandwith of opinions reaches from "everything is fine" to "A quota regulation would be good" to "It would be good if there is a nearly equal splitting on a free will base".
- Yes - it is OUR personal impression that we are not treated fair by the authorities. This impression has not an influence on our relationship to other tribes - It is "just" a problem between some persons.
- We never support acting via clones - Also we don't support assuming someone being a clone. Sometimes it's possible that a person is bullshitting around - There is no change of quality of the bullshit whether this person is a clone or not.

- We will not discuss again about "provoked or not provoked" wars, because a chess player would never blame the guy playing white for starting the attack. We also will stand to loose with white

With peace, love and understanding
The Sicilians
