Concerning Rome.      19.04.2010 00:17:53 --- 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Good day dear admins. I write this post in the name of whole active Roman players. Well, ex-roman players now. Our king went inactive and after deselection we were holding voting to decide who shall be the next Consul of the Roman REPUBLIC.

A new player that joined just took upon the seat and called herself Caesar. Kicked all that were opposing her(everybody active...).

So now we organised and are into revenge. Our problem is, we played for months as Romans, led our Republic, our villages and provices and built them. Why are we not able to attack Rome and take it back from a played that clicked one button and set herself as Emperor?

I thank you in advance for the reply and hope that you shall do something about this, either by deselecting her or allowing through in-game mechanics for us to retake OUR Rome.

Plz move this to petitions, posted on wrong forum.

well, the option you have is, attack Rome. Win against Rome.
If I`m right Rome would become a free Nation than and if you stand on Rome you can take controll if you are the fastest.

Thats all you can do.

but even your post here will bring you nothing.
I just handled with the Rules. Even if it was not the best Style

If game mechanics allow us to attack Rome, then all is well. We shall do so. Your tongue shall fall silent soon, Usurper.

you can attack Rome directly , but the troops there are very strong and your force will not be enough currently.
You would need the whole dacians+ your guys to do so I think.
but cause I know I can build up defending troops and elite troops until this day comes. and with the troops of Rome , it will be impossible

All the other shires must be taken, before attacking the castle, or the castle won't fall.
I rememb. some examples from RH and a recently one from KH: the attackers won the battle against the castle, but the castle didn't change the owner and the attackers remain trapped in the castle shire, because the nation of the castle still had other shires in possession!
I will quote Hoern answer in the later case:
QUOTE:
All other things are thing between the castle owner and the enemies.
To say it: There is nothing wrong with the engine. If the enemy destroys all shires and then the castle, the nation will be "deleted" and the castle is free to all knights.

Also you don't have the smallest chance to take the castle. Even without militia upgrade, it needs around 60-80 good knights in order to take it, castle's defense was enforced by Hoern in order to give some stability to the nations.

Do not throw the arrow which will return against you!

So even as a majority of Roman citizens we cannot take out nation back...
I'd ask that you question hoern about deselecting Ildico and getting us back to Rome since its impossible even with all the active players in Antique to conquer a capital.

I sent him a message as well but he hasnt replied yet.

it wasn`t just because I`m evil that I told you, that your revolt will bring you nothing.
It`s the engine .

And sorry to say, Hoern will not deselect me our kick me out, only because some other guys make mistakes.
Thats the game.

I have offered peace to all of you, I would have allowed all of you to work together with me, all of you left or were kicked. Only one of your whole group was interested in talking normaly with me.
So there is nothing wrong on your status as free currently

You were new to Roman nation and took throne while we were voting on the next consul. I find that exploiting of the faulty game engine.

You have offered us to do it your way or get kicked. I call that bullying, not a compromise.
After that every active Roman citizen was kicked or left. Enough said.

You left, you werent here when Rome took first, second nor 10th province. You just came and took position. Rome worked bad because Julian was inactive, and thus was taken from position.
You used a cunning trick and loophole and bad mechanics to get to where you are now.
