His name is Deldon - a warrior’s name. Proud son of the Daoi, the noble wolves. Dacia was his country, and in her mountains – the mysterious Carpathians, he was born and grew up.

He was trained to fight without fear, as he, as all true Dacians, was immortal.

His weapon is the terrible falx, the curved blade that cuts through armor and bone, the rugged steel that brings death…. and victory and honor.

He is Deldon, the falx bearer.

It was his 15th birthday. After the usual training, something special happened that day. The old weapon master told him about the battles that started in the valleys below. He told him about the efforts to unify the Dacians under one banner, under one strong cause. He told him about his noble blood and his sacred duty to fight for Zamolxis.

It was all he needed, it was enough. He grabbed his weapon, some silver coins and, after a quick farewell to the small shepherds village, started his journey to the southern valleys. The fortress of Neamt was his target, as there the first tarabostes started to gather.

And so the time to join the other warrior of his mighty nation came, at last.

The journey through the valley was long and the coming winter didn’t make it any easier. The mountain paths were steep and rough, the small villages scattered at long distances from on another. Some nights he had to sleep on the frozen ground, protected by the thick wool cloth he had from his shepherd friends. But Zamolxis’ call was strong and his will stronger.

On the sixth day he left behind the alpine forests and entered the rich hills of Neamt. With the mountains behind, he found new, broader roads, more and larger villages, more people travelling… he could even see fellow warriors, young as he was, heading to the fortress, to join the army.

We will attack Vrancea, the rumor was heard… as soon as we are strong enough, we will start the conquest to unify all the Dacian provinces.

It was the night before the battle. The orders were received. The warriors were ready to fight, hoping to prevail in the coming clash. The enemy was well organized and no doubt fortified in their fortress.

Vrancea was no easy target, being a rich region attracted many invaders and its people knew well how to defend. However, its future lies together with the rest of the Dacians, and union shall be.

Tomorrow we will fight ! Let Zamolxis lead us bravely into battle !

The battle was tough, and although they fought well, they couldn’t conquer the province.

They were too young, too inexperienced and most of them lacked a decent armor or weapons. The defenders knew well how to resist them and managed to take them out, one by one. However, no serious injuries were inflicted, and that means they will try again.. and again, until Vrancea will be under Dacian control.

They all knew it is their most important quest, and the fate of all Dacians depends of the conquest of one more province. So they will try again !

Vrancea is conquered. In a mighty assault, the Dacian warriors, aided by their trusty allies - the Hellenes, overran the defenders and conquered the rich province. Now that their luck changed, they pressed for more. Led by Zamolxis, fearless in their attacks, the Tarabostes Army marches through the land, towards Moldavia, their new target.

The Dacian conquest has begun !

For his loyalty and bravery Deldon received a small village in Vrancea - named SARMIS, and was entitled counselor of the tribe. Although as a warrior he kept fighting in the Tarabostes army set on conquering the neighboring provinces, as a landlord he was entrusted with the development of its village.

Dacia was seeking more than conquest, it needed development and stability.
