In the beginning of his reign of the Ligurians, Gaius Julius and Taristin Leonnsbane travelled to the province of Liguri to buy some of the provinces fine wine. Suddenly Gaius Julius and Taristin leonsbane was surrounded by a horde of barbarians..... after a short struggle the barbarians prevailed.

Gais Julius retreated to savoy and started planning a cruel revenge. Gaius Julius couldnt forget the actions of the infidel barbarians. As soon as he could gather an army Gaius Julius started to charge the barbarians of Liguri. After 3 battles the brave young warriors og the Ligurinas was victorious.

Gaius Julius considered to burn the province to the ground, but thought that the province could be of good use for the Ligrians therefore Gaius Julius appointed Taristin Leonsbane to rule the wild Liguri in trust that he can tame them and keep the wine floating to Savoi.

Some years later the ligurian army needed some excersize. Gaius Julius decided that the province of Pimont should be the newest province in the Ligurian empire. Gaius Julius was eager to see if the army of the Ligurians had grown stronger.

Gaius Julius wasnt dissapointed the Ligurian army prevailed after two attacks. When Gaius Julius received the capitulation from the barbarian leader he looked at the brave ligurian warriors still standing. Gaius Julius decided to choose among them the new count of the province. Gaius Julius called paganlord and announced that he would be the leader of the new province.

What better way to celebrate the near arrival of faith.

Aranth was the adopted son of Lars Porsenna, who led the federation of the etruscan city-states for over twenty years. As the message from the new king of Liguria arrived Aranth onboard of his galley, a greekstyle Trireme, he remembered the old friendship between his adoptive father and the former two rulers of Liguria. After the death of the last one named Gaius Julius, Liguria disentegrated and fell back to barbarian stage.

Knowing his inexperience, Aranth walked to his adoptive mother, Lady Fineae, and showed her the ligurian message. After some hours of consultation between his mother and him, he wrote a letter adressed to Njegus from Liguria. He sent it with a fast galley to Verona, from where a messenger moved to Savoie, the ligurian capital, with it.
