To all the peoples of the Ecumene, that live under the aegis of Iuppiter Optimus Maximus:


A new day has come after long and troubled times. As you all know, Rome was born in humble origins. Our Ancestor and Founding Fathers, Romulus and Remus, were rescued from Tiber stream by a wolf, who brought them up, looking after them until they were brave and strong men able to write their own destiny. With that foundations Rome was created, and our Republic has grown up over them. We've gone through hard times, we've had to fight courageous enemies both from beyond and inside our borders, we've had to discover the strange ways that lead a country to the Glory, even losing sometimes the path along.

Finally, the Roman Republic has reached her place among the most important powers in the World. The Senate and the People of the Roman Republic have decided to celebrate this event holding great games in our capital to thank the Gods, and specially Iuppiter Optimus Maximus, "King of the Gods", for their help.

The "Ludi Romani" will be held in the Urbs, our capital, the City of Rome, on the 15th day of January of the current year (15.1.-290) and, to better please the "Dii Consentes", SPQR have decided that every warrior from every country in the Ecumene will be welcome in those days in the Urbs.

Honor the Roman Republic! Honor our Ancestors and their Glory! Be our guests, our comrades, our opponents... and enjoy roman hospitality!

To the Senate and people of the Republic of Rome

We, the people of Etruria are pleased to hear these good news. The years of civil war are over and a new political stability has been enforced in the italian peninsula.

The troubles about Ravenna are forgotten and some etruscan warriors will to set out for Rome to take part at the Ludi Romani. They will fight and shed their blood to celebrate with our roman neighbours and to honour the gods.

Jupiter Optimus Maximus will smile consent to the prosperity of the italian people in times of peace.
