...Three boats arrived at the shores of Sicily some say that they came from Rome, after few hours a small band of warriors was ready to march upon the castle. They're leader was a young and tall man, he had only a spear in his hand and a small blue banner with a dolphin on it. They chose to wait and build two ladders, and so in the middle of night they silently attacked the walls. Yet mighty Ares was watching and smiled upon the bravery of young warriors. While most of the guard was sleeping Grimuald lead his warriors straight to the Great Hall of Barbarian ruler of Sicily. After a short fight with dozen of guards, brave warriors found the old Archon sleeping under the feast table.

Zeus forgive us, but we want better live that this barbarian pig was planing for us

Said Grimuald and ordered his men to slay the sleeping archon. Before the dawn most of Guards was disarmed by warriors loyal to Grimuald, and gathered near the main gate of city.

Warriors of Sicily! You are finally free from the rule of that Barbarin pig! I'm Grimuald and those are my mighty warriors! blessed by Ares himself! Join me and together we will build our empire, and gold age for Sicily

Most of the people was still confused and unarmed so they couldn't stand against him. Many of the elders had to agree and declared him as a new Archon, after that they gone with him to his palace to speak about the situation on the Island...

Now people of Sicily stand untied seeking new warriors, brave enough to fight and die if necessary..

Carthago Council was shortly informed by traveling merchants about things in Sicily. So they gathered aroun the fire in their desert camp, and decided to send statement to their newborn neighbours:

After few days spent in palace, Grimuald had to assemble an army to fight the Barbarians in the City of Palermo, it was an indeed hard decision for the young leader. As he had to leave most of his loyal and strong warriors to secure the city of Syracusae, after sacrifice in the temple of Athena he left the city with an army made of young and unexperienced warriors. The road wasn't hard so after five days they final reached Palermo. And so, when the young warriors was preparing their siege camp, a small group of people came, and with them four mighty war elephants. Grimuald with joy read the letter from Carthago Council and quickly wrote a short letter and placed it in hands of messenger.

All Sicily with joy welcome friendship of such value as yours, we hope that with your help we will enter into a golden age of wealth

After the people from Carthago left, many warriors joined their leader to see the fearsome war beasts. Yet the view wasn't good as their leader had hoped for. Elephants were tired from the long journey and had to rest. And old keeper said that most of them won't be able to fight and if Sicilias will use them in battle they certainly die.

I won't allow such a grand gift as those animals to be wasted, we will win this battle using our own blades and pay in our own blood for this victory!

Shouted their leader, most of the young warriors raised their spears and banners when Grimuald slowly went back to his tent, praying to ares as he know that defeat is almost certain ..

After the hard battle in the city of Palermo, Grimuald went to make sacrifice thanking Athena for this victory. After that he ordered to find dozen barrels of finest wine and sent them to the camp of Carthaginians, also he quickly wrote a small letter.
