This shows another side effect you don't see in the report. One that might actually be intended...and correct, that I did not read in the Sea Battle explanation.

Because the win and the Teutons named owner of the field...my corsairs who have landed and conquered 109 cannot return to the sea like old battles.
They can make no fallback either. from the beached boats anymore.
